RD publishes a variety of genres, including reporting, analysis, commentary, film/book reviews and blogging, by scholars, journalists, writers, and activists.

Feature stories typically run between 1000 and 2500 words, with some exceptions at either end. Blog posts (for the "Dispatches" section) run 2-10 paragraphs long.

Be sure to include a several-sentence author bio with your submission.
